Christine McGuinness says Pilgrimage helped her tackle fear of dying

Appearing on The One Show, the mum-of-three admitted her worries about leaving her children behind had begun to take over her life.

CHRISTINE MCGUINNESS: I think one of the best things was making friends. But for me personally, it was not being so scared of dying anymore. That was something that was really keeping me awake at night. I've got three young children.

- The health anxiety?

CHRISTINE MCGUINNESS: Yeah. It was just-- the worries and concerns, as a parent of course, you worry about not being around to look after them. But for me, it was really taken over my mind. And whilst I was on pilgrimage, I learnt to just live in the moment and enjoy the present and just embrace the right now.
