Yahoo News Christopher Eccleston: 'Marvel was dishonest' on Thor 2
Before Thor: Ragnarok came along, people saw the God of Thunder's solo films as just 'there'.
One person who is especially not a fan of Thor: The Dark World is Christopher Eccleston, who didn't have a great experience playing baddie Malekith in the 2013 flick.
"Not my greatest moment, it has to be said," he told Graham Norton on BBC Radio 2 this morning (November 18), admitting that he took on the role for the money but soon regretted it.

The actor was asked about his prosthetics for the role, and explained that he wasn't told about the extensive costuming process, which saw him arrive at 4am and sit in the make-up chair until 10:30am.
"The first couple of days it was about seven hours, eight hours," he explained. "I think we got it down to six and a half. It's a day's work before [anything]."
And when Graham asked if it was the kind of role that actors take for one reason, and then question if they even need that money when they're stuck in the make-up chair for so long, Eccleston confirmed: "Money. That's exactly what I felt."
"Marvel were dishonest to me," he added. "Because they never, ever let me know that there'd be that amount of make-up.
"So yeah, that was not my finest moment."
In previous interviews, Eccleston has lamented how a lot of scenes that explained his character's backstory and motivations ended up on the cutting room floor.
He also told Digital Spy that a lot of Dark Elf sex was also left out, but we think he might have been joking.
The actor recently told us that he'd only ever do Strictly Come Dancing if he got to perform to a very X-rated song. What is it about us that makes you be so crude, Eccleston?!
The former Doctor Who lead has been cast in an all-star adaptation of King Lear alongside Anthony Hopkins, who played Odin in The Dark World.
For now though, he is currently reprising his role as Maurice in the second series of BBC One's The A Word.
