Clarkson's Farm favourite Gerald provides an update on cancer diagnosis

One of the fan favourites from the Clarkson's Farm show, Gerald Cooper, has provided an important health update following his diagnosis with cancer.

The 74-year-old has been described as "healthy and happy" after he had previously revealed on the Amazon Prime series that he had prostate cancer.

Fans have been quick to share their well-wishes with Gerald after this week's announcement that he is recovering.

People around the world were quick to wish him the best with his continued recovery.

Gerald is famous for his particularly strong accent that frequently leaves Jeremy Clarkson, and fans alike, a little perplexed.

But he can always be relied upon to assist on Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington, offering pearls of wisdom from his years of experience.

Fans from around the world sent best wishes with an American watcher saying they were "so happy he's doing well" in an online post.

An Australian viewer said: "Awesome to see him back at full health! Everyone in my Aussie household was so upset when we saw Gerald was sick.

"Keep up the great work fixing Clarkson's mistakes, Gerald."

The first episode of the latest series of Clarkson’s Farm revealed that Gerald had undergone an operation for cancer.

At the end of the first episode, Jeremy Clarkson receives the news during a phone call with viewers left in suspense as the former Top Gear and Grand Tour presenter is seen to become upset, before telling the cameras "Gerald's got cancer. Oh s***".

The Prime Video documentary has become globally popular since its first season aired in 2021 showing life on the farm in Chadlington.

Diddly Squat Farm was bought by the former Top Gear host in 2008 and is now a tourist hotspot for fans worldwide.

Filming for season four is currently underway.
