Club record goalscorer Kevin Adam headlines the list of returnees as new Irvine Victoria boss Stuart MacDuff prepares for his first game in charge.

Adam has signed on for a 13th season with the Vics, over two spells, and will be looking to add to his tally of 177 goals for the club as they aim to mount a West of Scotland League Third Division promotion charge.

MacDuff, who took over from his father Dougie at the conclusion of last term, will lead his side out for the first time this weekend as they travel to Airdrie to take on WoSL Premier Division outfit Gartcairn in a friendly.

He’ll do so with a solid core of last season’s side having already signed on the dotted line for the upcoming campaign.

Alongside hitman Adam, fellow strikers Kyro Crawford and last season’s top scorer Alessandro Savarese are also back, as is two-time Player of the Year Steven Gaffney.

The defender has been an integral part of the squad since his arrival , making 70 appearances across his two seasons as well as chipping in with nine goals.

Gaffney will lead the backline that will also feature three more returning stars with Fraser MacDuff, Ross Agnew and Clayton Smith all having signed for the new season.
