Coast Guard Assesses Damage in Puerto Rico After Hurricane Fiona

All ports in Puerto Rico were reopened by the Coast Guard on Wednesday, September 21, as crew members assisted in the island’s recovery following Hurricane Fiona, according to the US Coast Guard Sector San Juan.

Hurricane Fiona caused mass power outages and flooding in Puerto Rico, prompting Joe Biden’s approval of an emergency declaration for the area, according to reports.
