Tori emerges from the surf club and rushes to Ben's side as she sees that Maggie has fainted. Maggie is taken to hospital, where the medical team undertake some tests to determine what is wrong. Ben's fears soar as Tori assesses Maggie's symptoms, worried that her decline is a result of stopping the chemo. When Maggie finds out that she's too unwell to go home at all, she's devastated and Ben's heart breaks for her.

Ben goes to tell Coco about Maggie's latest results, as her cancer markers are on the rise. Tori tells Maggie that the plan going forward will be to put her on a more aggressive chemo regime, but Maggie doesn't want to. Coco is horrified to learn that Maggie stopped treatment, and feels even more betrayed that she was kept in the dark while Ziggy and Ben knew.

Coco comes storming into the hospital and Maggie tries to explain herself, but Coco just can't understand Maggie's decision. The family objects to Coco's wishes to call Ziggy and let her know what is going on. Coco decides to anyway, but gets no answer.

Marilyn and John look online for support and tips on how to help Ty feel accepted and become more comfortable with being gay. After looking at some websites, they feel more confident that they will be ready and able to support Ty when he is ready to talk.

Elsewhere, on honeymoon, a mischievous Ziggy removes a fuse so the boat engine won't start. Brody soon works out that she's meddled and a play fight ensues. Unfortunately, during their wrestling, Ziggy drops the fuse overboard and they get stranded.
