Coleen Nolan has said she has worries that she's "a bit too old" for her boyfriend eight years her junior.
The 55-year-old shared last year that she had started seeing someone new and has kept his identity a secret, but had now divulged her concerns about the age gap with the 47-year-old.
"I've had this discussion with the man I'm seeing, he's 47 and I'm 55 and, although there are only eight years between us, I have moments of worrying I’m a bit too old for him," she wrote in her newsletter for the Mirror.
"On the other hand, we both have a similar outlook and are in the same place in our lives. He’s divorced with children, as am I, so we have a lot in common, too."
Nolan has been divorced twice, legally splitting with first husband Shane Richie, father of her sons Shane Jr, 32, and Jake, 28, in 1999 and second husband Ray Fensome, whom she shares 19-year-old daughter Ciara with, in 2018.
The mother-of-three added that couples having the same "attitude to life" heavily impacted the success of age-gap relationships.
She went on: "I suppose my insecurity with dating someone a lot younger would be that he’d get to a point where he thought I was too old for him or that I’d start to feel old because I was with someone so much younger."
Nolan noted that there have been several high profile, enduring age-gap relationships, including the late Dame Barbara Windsor and her husband Scott Mitchell, who had a 27-year age gap.
The Loose Women star added that she and her mystery man, whom she met online, are keeping their relationship going in lockdown by talking on the phone everyday.
