Coleen Nolan reveals Jimmy Savile invited her to hotel room when she was 14
Coleen Nolan has revealed that paedophile Jimmy Savile invited her to his hotel room when she was just 14.
The Loose Women star said the disgraced presenter approached her after her family group had appeared on TV show Top Of The Pops – which Savile used to host - and asked her to go to his suite.
Opening up in an interview on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, Nolan said that Savile assured her that he would “look after” her.

However, she declined his offer.
"He said he had a suite in a hotel and I should go up and see it and he’d look after me,” she said, explaining that Savile knew she was 14 at the time.
“Well at the time I just thought, you dirty old man. As if I’m going to go up there, I wouldn’t do it anyway.”

Nolan, 56, added that at the time she had “four sisters on the stage that would have beaten the crap out of him”.
Savile was well known for hosting BBC shows such as Top Of The Pops and Jim’ll Fix It.
He died in 2011 at the age of 84 and the following year was exposed as a serial sex offender.
It was discovered that he had used his celebrity as well as his involvement in charities, hospitals and prisons to abuse hundreds of people over the years.
