Cologne 1 Arsenal 0 | Europa League | RheinEnergieStadion | Kick-off: 6pm | Thursday, 23 November 2017

Arsenal secured top spot in Group H despite a disappointing defeat in Cologne on Thursday night.

Francis Coquelin went close twice in a tight first half that was short of quality, but Cologne got the vital breakthrough after the break as Sehrou Guirassy scored from the penalty spot after being fouled by Mathieu Debuchy.

Arsene Wenger's side were unable to find a breakthrough despite creating a number of late chances, though Red Star Belgrade's draw at BATE Borisov ensures the Gunners win their group and will be seeded for the round-of-32 draw.
