Police have made an urgent appeal about a 23-year-old woman from Wales who has been missing for more than a week.

 

Concerns are growing for the safety of Lucy Murphy, who went missing from the Pentre Gwyn area of Wrexham, who was last seen on Thursday, May 28.

 

She was last seen on Charles Street at 4pm and police say she may have been wearing a black formal dress and high heels.

 

Lucy is about 5ft 3ins tall and of slim build with long brown hair.

 

Police want Lucy to get in touch with them and her family, or for anyone with information to contact them.

 

North Wales Chief Inspector Simon Barrasford said: “Concern is growing for her safety and welfare and we are appealing to anyone who may know of Lucy’s whereabouts, or who believes they may have seen the 23-year-old, to contact us.

 

“We are also calling on Lucy herself to get in touch with her family and police to let us know that she is safe and well.”
