Concerns are growing for a missing pensioner who was last seen on Wednesday night. Greater Manchester Police says Michael was last seen on Howarth Street, in Old Trafford, at around 8.50pm yesterday (June 5).

The 77-year-old's surname has not been given by the force. GMP describes Michael as white, 5ft 8ins tall, with grey hair and grey stubble.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, a blue checked shirt and jeans. He was also wearing black shoes, and a black cap with a large 'S' on it and the word 'Starter'.

Police have released two photos of Michael alongside an urgent appeal to find him. One appears to be from a doorbell camera which shows him close-up with the cap he was last seen wearing.
