Coronation Street fans left confused by Abi Webster giving birth
Coronation Street fans have been left confused by a plot development that has seen Abi Webster give birth.
In the latest episode of the long-running soap, the character was seen going into labour after being left on the roadside by her drug dealer.
But viewers were baffled by the plot twist as she had shown no signs of pregnancy and it had not previously been mentioned on the show.

Abi is currently married to Kevin Webster but she had an affair with Imran Habeeb several months ago and fans voiced their shock at how she could be pregnant without anyone noticing.
Watch: Coming up on Coronation Street...
One viewer wrote on Twitter: "Abi slept with Imran well over six months ago so she can’t be pregnant where’s the bump or weight gain?"
Another commented: "WAIT ABI IS PREGNANT? it’s Kev’s right? Dates wouldn’t be right for it to be Imran’s if she’s in labour. Cryptic pregnancies are so common but I hope she hasn’t done any damage with her shenanigans this week & I hope Kev sorts it out with her. They deserve to be a family."
At the end of the episode, a teaser was shown depicting Abi and her newly born baby in hospital. In the clip, Abi gives a false name to the nurse and is seen fleeing in a car before crashing into a skip.
Abi didn’t even have any weight gain and suddenly her flat figure suddenly is having a baby, despite her confirming she wasn’t pregnant to imran only a few months ago.

The latest episode of Coronation Street aired on Sunday night (6 March) due to a shakeup in the schedule caused by ITV airing football in the weekdays.
Coronation Street, Emmerdale and EastEnders are also set to undergo a permanent schedule change starting this week that will see Emmerdale clash with BBC's EastEnders.
So I’m guessing this is Imran’s leaving story,Abi can’t keep the baby due to her past and recent drug use so to stop baby going into care Imran keeps it but Toyah can’t forgive him so he leaves with baby who I think will be a boy being born on Sebs birthday #Corrie
