Struggling to keep track of the constant stream of soap spoilers? Fear not, as every Monday Digital Spy picks out the biggest and best storylines hitting your screens in the week ahead.

1. Coronation Street: Steve's the daddy!

(Wednesday 21st August at 7.30pm on ITV)

In his quest to discover whether she's his biological daughter, Steve invites Emma out for lunch at the Bistro. Pretending she has got something in her hair, Mr M uses the opportunity to yank out one of her locks and send it away for DNA testing.

Emma's heartache continues when she meets up with her brother Morgan and is upset to realise he also knew the truth about her dad. After sending her sibling packing, Emma is stunned when Steve arrives at the funeral to announce she's the fruit of his loins!

As news of Steve's positive paternity test spreads, Emma decides to get her mum's version of events and skypes Fiona to hear what she has got to say.

2. Emmerdale: Mucky Moira makes her move

(Tuesday at 7pm and 8pm on ITV)

Temperatures are rising at Butlers Farm as Moira struggles to suppress her sexual attraction to Nate. Wanting to prove everything is hunky dory in her marriage, Mrs D arranges a date night with Cain. But as she's getting ready, Moira's needs get the better of her when the fit farmhand pulls her in for a snog and she eagerly responds.

After nearly getting caught in the act by Cain, guilty Moira tells Nate nothing more can happen between them. But less than 24 hours later, she goes back on her word after finding herself alone with the object of her desires.

With Cain out drinking, the coast is clear for Moira and her new lover to misbehave as they enjoy a roll around in the hay...

3. EastEnders: Phil confronts Kat

(Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One)

Phil is out of Walford General and on the warpath, as he returns to the Square searching for answers about his attack. Ben's left in a sweat as his dad grills him about his suspicious argument with Jay in the hospital.

Phil later reveals to Shirley that he has remembered something from that night and moments later Kat finds the Mitchell madman standing menacingly in her kitchen.

Furious Phil confronts Mrs Moon over the row they had moments before he was left for dead. She tries to keep Stacey's name out of it, but the jigsaw puzzle starts slotting into place. Is Phil about to learn the full extent of Ben's betrayal?

4. Hollyoaks: Time running out for Breda?

(Monday at 7pm on E4 and Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)

The net could be closing in on crazed serial killer Breda after Jack finds a body while fishing outside The Dog. As the village reels in shock over the grim discovery, Sylver's sinister mother is thrown into panic, when former copper Jack informs her that the police will be able to get finger prints from the corpse to track down the murderer.

But that doesn't stop her scoping out Darren as her next potential victim on the basis of his poor parenting skills. While Breda asks God to give her a sign as to whether she should exterminate Mr O, Jack gathers everyone to The Dog to see if they can work out who is trying to wipe out the local population.

5. Neighbours: Gail Robinson is back

(Thursday at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5)

A face from Erinsborough past returns when Harlow's long lost grandmother and Paul's former wife, Gail Lewis (formerly Robinson) rocks up. The former Ramsay Street resident is less than impressed when she arrives to find Harlow engaging in a food fight with rival Roxy, she's then quick to accuse Terese and Paul of neglecting her granddaughter.

Old wounds are reopened as Gail goes on to blame Paul for what happened to her sons, and insists Harlow would be better off away from him.

Clearly not a member of the Paul Robinson fan club, Gail takes Terese aside and tells her she'd be a fool to marry him. But does her warning hide an ulterior motive?

6. Emmerdale: Will and Harriet are reunited

(Wednesday at 7pm on ITV)

The Harriet/Will love story takes another turn when he arrives back in the village to visit Dawn. However, the mechanic's happiness at seeing his daughter again is short lived when Cain gives him the sack. After noticing there's still a spark between her dad and Harriet, Dawn plays matchmaker by offering to cook the couple dinner.

Meanwhile, Harriet fights Will's corner as she appeals to Cain to give him another chance. But as Will's future at the garage remains uncertain, his love life is suddenly looking up when he and Harriet lock lips, getting their romance back on track.

7. EastEnders: Hunter's prison break

(Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One)

Mel's Monday gets off to a lousy start when she receives a call informing her that Hunter is being transferred to another prison. After seeking legal advice from Gray concerning her son's move, Mel gets in touch with the prison to check on Hunter's wellbeing.

But M gets a nasty shock when she returns home to find the police waiting on her doorstep with worrying news – Hunter has escaped jail. While angry Mel demands an explanation from the boys in blue over how her fugitive offspring managed to flee, elsewhere Hunter is on the loose and planning his next move.

8. Coronation Street: Bethany's haunted by her past

Disturbing memories resurface for Bethany when a family arrive for dinner at the Bistro, and she recognises the dad as a man from one of Nathan's seedy parties. Beth confides in Daniel, asking him not to say anything, only for him to ignore her wishes and cause a scene.

With things kicking off, the family storm out and poor Craig ends up being caught in the crossfire when the wife reverses her car, ploughing into him.

Devastated by the incident, Bethany vows not to allow Nathan to hurt her any further. She bravely announces she's going to put pen to paper and make an account of her harrowing ordeal, in order to help other girls not suffer the same ordeal.

9. Hollyoaks: Maxine's fake funeral

(Wednesday at 7pm on E4 and Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)

Unable to 'fess up and tell Damon they got married under false pretences, Maxine continues to deceive her new husband by claiming her terminal tumour has grown. Wanting to make Max's last few months memorable, Damon throws her a no expense spared living funeral, paid for with dosh from her crowd funding page.

With all of Maxine's nearest and dearest gather for the celebration of her life, seething Sienna urges her friend to use the occasion to come clean about her condition. But with Maxine having already admitted she has become addicted to lying, will she be honest or carry on digging a deeper hole for herself?

10. Home and Away: Wedding day drama for Robbo and Jasmine

(Tuesday at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5)

Robbo and Jasmine finally say 'I do' this week and become husband and wife. But as the newlyweds let their hair down at their reception, the party is brought to an abrupt end when a fleet of AFP officers storm the Surf Club and escort them out, driving them to a safe house.

Arriving at the secret location – where pregnant Tori is also waiting – Lance opens up, explaining that the criminals responsible for Robbo's family's murders are back on the scene. Under orders, the trio are forced to stay put while Lance returns to the Bay to collect their possessions.

But by the next day, Robbo is out for revenge, ordering Lance to track down the men responsible and finish things once and for all.
