It’s your Coronation Street spoilers for the 5-9 April 2021:
Tyrone and Fiz to split up?
In years to come, that recent pathos-filled scene which saw Fiz chastise Tyrone for having a mid-life crisis will come to be looked on as a true Corrie classic. But anyone hoping that Fiz would now be spared further heartache are in for a big disappointment.
After spotting an Immigration Enforcement van pulling up outside the salon flat, Tyrone races over and learns from Alina that someone has reported her for tax evasion. But when Ty then rounds on Fiz and accuses her of contacting the authorities, she demands to know how he really feels. Expect high emotion and crushing torment for Fiz as Tyrone admits that it’s Alina he loves.

By Wednesday, Tyrone is kipping over at Kev’s, while Fiz is telling Ches that her relationship is dead and has been for some time.
Leanne and Simon say goodbye
After one of Harvey’s dealers starts using Leanne’s flat as a base of operations, she manages to give DS Glynn a covert tip off. But an intervention by the police leads to evil Harvey trying to Batter(sby) Leanne, who admits to having liaised with the law.
Fearing for her life, Leanne later confides in Toyah that leaving town is the only way of ensuring her and Simon's safety. Hence Leanne saying her goodbyes on Friday and Nick insisting to her that they can sort things out if only she’d stay.

But with Harvey’s threats hanging over her, a gutted Leanne regretfully tells the tearful Mr Tilsley that it’s now too late.
Cathy’s trolling torment
It seems that everyone has it in for Brian, what with the corner shop now selling newspapers and greetings cards, plus someone daring to chuck a brick through the window of the Kabin.
As tensions escalate, Cathy ends up cracking and telling both Tracy and Dev that it was she who was responsible for the trolling, not Brian. But the admission makes her public enemy number one, with best mate Gemma deserting her and lovable Alex receiving online abuse when he tries to stick up for his aunt.
Peter’s last hope
Peter has now reached the Phil Mitchell Point of No Return, with doctors telling him that because the condition of his liver has not improved, he needs a liver transplant. But the stumbling block is that he might not be eligible for one.
But Peter is determined not to give up, as he has Simon think about, as well as the not-insignificant matter of his upcoming wedding to Carla. Oh, and those jigsaws aren’t going to do themselves, are they, Peter? Just perhaps stay away from any that feature pictures of pubs on the box.
