It’s the end of an era at the Rovers, plus Nina hits self-destruct, Fiz goes to war against Tyrone, and Peter gets good news.
It’s your full spoiler guide to the week ahead on Coronation Street for 7–11 June, 2021.
Who will buy the Rovers?
Johnny is set to make the announcement that he’s going to sell the Rovers Return - and it's a development that leaves staff members Sean and Emma facing an uncertain future.
We’ve known for a while that the the Rovers would be put on the market thanks to a news story about Corrie using Purple Bricks signage during the process. But who will end up purchasing the country’s most recognisable pub?

Daisy will be seen insisting to Jenny that they need to raise the cash to buy it. But I’d like to see the fab Debbie Webster installed behind the bar. She’s got style, a no-nonsense attitude and would probably rile the regulars with attempts to gentrify it beyond recognition.
A liver is found but Peter is lost
There’s bad feeling among the Barlows with Adam being accused by Carla of having signed Peter’s death warrant. And matters are made worse when Daniel breaks the news to Peter that unfortunately his liver isn’t compatible.
Yet we should know by now that Peter has more lives than an entire cattery. And pretty soon, news has come through from the transplant centre that a donor organ has been found. The only problem being that Carla now can’t find Peter.
Eventually, the former booze hound is located in the Bistro on the brink of collapse and Carla says her goodbyes to him as he readies himself for the op. But will Peter’s transplant be a success?
Nina turns to drink
Poor Nina looks set to seek solace in alcohol, as grief and guilt over the death of Seb threatens to overwhelm her.
First, she’ll be seen snapping at Summer before going on to steal a bottle of vodka from the corner shop while Dev is distracted and then knocking back its contents while alone in the ginnel.
Fiz fights for her girls
Fiz ups the ante when it comes to her increasingly bitter break-up from Tyrone. What we’ll witness is Hope playing up at school and then running out into the middle of the road while in Tyrone and Alina’s supposed care.
Fiz’s reaction is to tell Ty that he’s not to see the girls until there’s a proper consent order in place – and that she is going for custody of Ruby, too.
When Tyrone is later pulled over and breathalysed by Craig, he gets it into his head that Fiz is scheming to get him arrested to bolster her chances. Evelyn, meanwhile, is warning that there are no winners when it comes to a custody battle. But will Fiz back down?
Bernie and Dev get passionate
When Aadi ribs dad Dev about his flatlined love life, Bernie comes to the rescue and makes out that they’re off for a brunch together.
But the role play then becomes real when Dev and Bernie end up between the sheets at No 7. In the aftermath though, there’s the potential for Bernie to be left feeling ill-used when Dev tells Steve that he only copped off with Bernie because he was drunk. What a swine!
