And later in the week, after Jamie spots one of her hidden cameras, Kim confides in her son that she’s still keeping tabs on all areas of the house in order to catch whoever it is that’s drugging her. Jamie’s hurt that he too was under suspicion but ends up suggesting to his mum that they both escape Home Farm for a while.
Who’s torturing Andrea’s pet dog?
Gabby is left seething when Andrea breezes into Home Farm with her pet dog Princess in tow in order to pick up Millie’s sleeping bag for an upcoming camping trip they’re embarking on with Charles. The reason for Gabby’s anger is due to Princess taking a poop in her handbag, an act that leaves the mum-to-be commenting that the dog is now on borrowed time.
Devious Meena, meanwhile, will be seen intercepting Charles outside the church and sowing seeds of doubt in his mind about being with Andrea, her supposed concern being that it’s too soon to introduce another father figure into Millie’s life.
Then comes the shock event that could put the kibosh on the camping trip altogether. After Andrea temporarily leaves Princess tied up in the shade, someone lures the dog off with its favourite toy into a parked car – and then slams the door shut.
In scenes that may end up riling viewers, the sun then beats down mercilessly on the vehicle as Princess remains trapped inside, desperately scrabbling to escape – but to no avail…
Jimmy leans on Mandy
Mandy gets wind of Jimmy’s plan to plead guilty and tries to get him to see that going to prison won’t help anyone. But in his confused head, Jimmy sees Mandy as offering more than just support and he ends up blurting out that his feelings for her run deeper than just friendship.
Her gobsmacked reaction, though, leaves him immediately regretful. And instead of the pair embarking on an illicit affair, Mandy instead urges Jimmy to fight for his marriage. But rather than try to heal that rift, Jimmy ultimately decides to move out of the family home.
Nicola’s world comes crashing down
And what of Nico in all of this? Well, she’s confiding in Bernice about her marital woes, but her words are overheard by cheeky Mack, who’s happy to comment that he’ll always be an option for her.
When Nicola then gets glammed up, it appears as though she’s set to make a move on Mack. But are his dreams really about to come true?
Tracy’s troubles mount
Finally, Tracy’s behaviour continues to be a cause for concern as she struggles with baby Frankie’s feeding demands.
Nate does his best to be supportive, but Dr Liam can see that she’s finding life a struggle and urges Tracy to look after herself as well as Frankie. But will this be possible?
