Home is not where Tyrone’s heart is

Yet at the first available opportunity, Ty is hotfooting it across the Street to tell Alina that he’s only back with Fiz on a temporary basis for the sake of the kids and it’s her he really loves. But viewers can expect another curveball to come on Friday when Fiz reveals that she’s booked a relationship counselling session for them with Toyah. I bet you’re squirming in your seat at the mere thought of it.
Peter and Carla’s wedding is doomed?
Peter has a terrible history when it comes to weddings. Remember the time he married barmaid Shelley when Lucy the florist was already his wife? Or maybe his “I do” to Leanne which was followed by him flatlining from a cardiac arrest straight after the ceremony?
Well, it doesn’t look as though this time around is going to be any better. In fact, Peter is once again a groom at death’s door as he weds Carla despite his liver being on the brink of conking out.

And so desperate is the situation that the bride is having to urge the registrar to hurry things up because Peter is struggling to read out his vows. Let’s hope they haven’t splashed out on a lavish reception, eh?
Cathy vanishes
There’s a macabre surprise in store for Cathy on the doorstep of the Kabin: a funeral wreath from an anonymous sender who obviously wishes her ill. Tracy denies all knowledge of the ghoulish gift and when Cathy reports her trolling to the police, she’s told that there’s nothing they can do.
By Wednesday, Cathy is confiding in partner Brian that she wants to leave the neighbourhood, claiming that it’d be best for everyone if she moved away. Brian begs her not to go, but it seems that she’s set to exit without telling him where she’s headed. Hence Brian revealing by Friday that he intends to report Cathy’s disappearance to the police.
Ed’s big gamble
Michael gets the result of his DNA test, but whatever the result, it seems the damage is done where his relationship with Ed is concerned. Feeling betrayed, the Bailey patriarch ends up doing the one thing he really shouldn’t when he starts gambling again.
Pretty soon, Aggie has worked out that Ed has taken £1,000 from their bank account, so Michael and James head out to search the local bookies and casinos for their dad. But the odds are slim that they’ll find him in time…
