Struggling to come to terms with Seb's brutal murder, grieving Nina has been using alcohol to mask her pain. Waking up in the ginnel following her latest bender, Nina staggers home and lies to Roy about where she has been. She then tears up her graphic novel, declaring that her work is rubbish just like her life.

Trying to help, Roy and Asha tape the book back together and post photos on her Instagram account, but their actions only result in making Nina even angrier. Storming over to the Corner Shop, she attempts to steal another bottle of vodka, but is caught by Carla, who warns that getting drunk won't solve anything.

Ignoring Carla's advice, Nina joins Daisy and her mate Noah for drinks in the Bistro and drowns her sorrows in a bottle of wine. Worried Daisy tries to return her drunk pal home to Roy, but Nina has other ideas and leaps into a nearby taxi.

After pulling another all-nighter, Nina returns to the cobbles and heads to The Rovers to booze it up with Hughie, an older guy she met the night before. In her sloshed state, Nina agrees to accompany Hughie back to his hotel, where she spots Tommy Orpington sat at a table with Corey and his 'Best New Talent' award.

Unable to control her rage, Nina announces that Corey kicked her boyfriend to death. As the men get up and leave, she grabs Corey's award and follows them out with menacing intent.

It's the morning after the night before for Luke as he wakes up hungover on Wendy's sofa full of despair over his confession to Victoria. Realising that her son only told his girlfriend part of the truth, Wendy urges him to reveal the whole story about his brawl with Lee, which occurred the same day he was attacked by Robert.

Later, the couple get a chance to talk, but Vic remains baffled by the chef's cagey behaviour and wants Luke to tell her everything he has been hiding if they're to stand a chance of working things out.

Still Luke can't bring himself to be fully honest, so Wendy decides to do it for him and stuns Victoria by detailing the shocking events of that fateful day.

Shaken by the revelation, Victoria starts to put the pieces together and is devastated to realise that Luke's fight with Lee could have caused his death, meaning Robert may have been sent down for a crime he didn't commit.

It looks as if there's no going back for Vic and Luke's relationship, and Wendy fears her actions may have destroyed her family forever.

It's a faaamily affair in EastEnders this week as Love Island's Dani Dyer makes a cameo appearance as taxi driver Jeanette alongside her real-life dad, Danny.

Having agreed to meet Linda at her baby scan, the day turns into a right mare for Mick when a run of bad luck results in him running late for the appointment. The landlord hails a passing cab and meets Jeanette the driver, who's heavily pregnant.

While Linda anxiously waits for her hubby to arrive, Mick's journey to get to her takes an unexpected turn when Jeanette's waters suddenly break, and he's forced to take the wheel to get her to hospital in time. Will they make it before the baby arrives?

At last Mick reaches Linda, but before he has the chance to explain the reason for his lateness, she drops a bombshell about the baby. Stunned, Mick insists he'll love the child no matter what, but Linda remains fearful about Max being involved.

Following their emotional heart-to-heart, the couple reach a decision. As she stands behind the bar at The Vic, Linda tells her punters that she has got an important announcement to make.

The guilt of her killer secret is weighing heavily on Sally as she steps up her mission to free John Paul from jail. She attempts to help James with the case, but the lawyer warns her that – because of JP's false admission of guilt – the best they can do is minimise his sentence.

Later, Matthew-Jesus overhears Sally talking to Theresa and wrongly thinks his dad was responsible for murdering George. As the youngster fumes at his father, it's all too much for Sally. She calls Mercedes and Sylver, announcing that she has something to tell them.

Watch: Will Mellor talks about the time he came home from the vet with the wrong missing cat

Determined to expose her crime, the headteacher hatches a plan to film a re-enactment of George's murder, and casts Sylver to play the role of the deceased copper. Mercy isn't initially sold on the idea, but when John Paul reveals he has been given a hard time by the prison guards, she agrees to go along with it.

In typical McQueen style, things don't go according to plan and Sally ends up turning to PC Smith for help in getting her sent down. The pair arrange a secret meeting, where the policeman tells Sally that he'll need a sample of her blood to use as evidence.

Theresa voices her concerns by warning Sally that her new ally isn't to be trusted, but she refuses to budge and prepares to say her goodbyes to everyone.

Newly-single Fiz agrees to join in the fun, but her heart sinks when she sees Alina arriving at the bar looking a million dollars, closely followed by Tyrone flossing a pair of very skinny jeans.
