Coronation Street spoilers: Courtney offered cash to dump Aadi, Ryan is exposed
On Coronation Street next week Dev tempts Courtney with £5,000 on the condition that she ends things with Aadi, plus Ryan’s identity is revealed in a livestream.
And as the Rovers is boarded up, Stephen wants to take Jenny away from her troubles (and her suspicions about Teddy and Leo).
It’s all the Coronation Street spoilers you need for 25-27 September 2023.
Ryan’s secrets are revealed
Thanks to a technical error during a livestream, Ryan’s identity is revealed and it isn’t long before the Gazette has written a story about the acid attack victim who’s now making explicit videos. Izzy then finds the article and shows it to the Underworld crowd over lunch at the Rovers, but Ryan is left mortified when he realises that everyone is talking about him.
Soap spoilers revealed
Deciding he needs to move out of Carla’s, Ryan then starts looking at flats, only for Lauren to offer him her spare room. Trying to make amends for his jealous behaviour, Daniel helps Ryan carry his things to his new accommodation.
But when some lads start cracking jokes about his scars, Ryan flies into rage and Daniel is forced to intervene. However, as he retrieves Ryan’s possessions, Daniel notices the stash of testosterone…
Will Courtney dump Aadi?
Courtney is pressuring Aadi to find them a place to live, and a possible solution comes thanks to Bernie, who reveals that Shelly’s old flat is up for rent.
Aadi is delighted by the news but Dev, who wants the relationship to end, is perturbed.
Later in the week, suspicions start to grow that Courtney is merely using Aadi when she’s still in love with Darren. And speaking of Darren, he’ll be seen taking Dev to one side and giving him £5,000 to split up Courtney and Aadi.
Dev then returns home and offers Courtney the cash if she bins Aadi off. But will she take the bait?
The Rovers is shut down
It’s a whirlwind week for Jenny, who’s told by the Waterford’s manager that the Rovers is closing for an extensive refurbishment and that everyone’s contracts have been terminated with immediate effect. As the pub is boarded up, Gemma then reveals that she’s applied for the deputy manager role – a move that leaves Daisy fuming as she’d assumed it would go to Jenny.
Jenny, though, has plans elsewhere, what with Stephen wanting to take her off on holiday to Thailand. But might his real reason for getting Jenny away from Weatherfield be to do with her suspicions regarding Leo’s death and her determination to report Teddy as a missing person?
Drama at Shelly’s funeral
Monday’s episode finds Billy conducting Shelly’s funeral, but when Paul stands to say a few words, an objection comes from the dead woman’s brother.
Paul than lambasts Kieran for not supporting his sister when she was dying. But the war of words soon turns physical as the two guys start to tussle – with Paul accidentally smacking Billy in the face during the fight.
Cassie’s big mouth could get her into trouble
Ange, the owner of a local taxi firm, is looking for a company to service her fleet and believes that Kev’s garage could suit her needs.
But on Wednesday, Cassie lets slip in conversation that Abi’s been to prison, as well as the fact that they’re both recovering addicts. Kevin despairs, but how will Ange react?
Falling out for Ed and Ronnie
The police have finished their work at the building site, so Ronnie tells Ed that they’re now free to continue. Trying to conceal his anxiety, Ed assures his brother that he’ll get the ball rolling.
Later, though, Ronnie reveals that he’s taking Debbie away for a few days, but doesn’t want to leave Ed in charge of the business account. Taking offence, Ed storms off.
