Coronation Street spoilers: Kelly is kidnapped, plus Audrey’s huge secret revealed

Kelly’s life is in danger on Coronation Street next week, plus Phill set to find out about Fiz and Tyrone?

It’s a dramatic week of Coronation Street spoilers for 18-23 July 2022.

Kelly’s hostage drama

Following her act of altruism, Kelly has been kidnapped and her abductor Kieron is now demanding that Gary come up with £50,000 if he’s to ever see her again.

Gary manages to scrape together £24,000 and confronts the thugs, but a crowbar-wielding Kieron makes it clear that he needs to come up with the remainder of the cash. A fight then ensues, but Kelly is left shocked by how far Gary is willing to go.

And by Friday, a shaky Kelly will be seen confronting Gary about what seemed to be his intention to kill Kieron. Gary assures her that he was simply protecting her, but will Kelly believe him?

Phill discovers all about Tyrone and Fiz?

Phill attempts to win Fiz back by staging an Officer and a Gentleman-style invervention at the factory. But after turning up in uniform and lifting Fiz up, Phil puts his back out and drops her. Admitting defeat while at A&E, Phill then agrees that what he really needs to do is sign the annulment forms.

But Fiz gets a further shock the following day when Phill has a rethink and suggests that they go to couples’ therapy – only for the therapist to turn out to be the same one that she and Tyrone are currently seeing.

And when Phill leaves his phone behind following the first session, he returns later in the day to the very room in which Ty and Fiz are now having a consultation. So will he catch them in the act and realise what’s going on?

Debbie’s cash crisis

Following Ed’s accident, Debbie calls at the hospital with a cheque, only to be told that it’s not nearly enough. Aggie’s advice? That Debbie best hire a lawyer, as she and Ed have already instructed Adam.

With no insurance policy to claim on, Debbie ends up offering Ed £30,000 by way of compensation. But Aggie makes it clear that Debs has now got two weeks to cough up the full amount.

Audrey’s big health secret

Audrey reluctantly attends a birthday meal that’s been arranged for her. But what will be her reaction when the family reveals that they’ve signed a rental agreement with Debbie and that her old salon is now hers again?

Later on, Gail calls her mum, concerned about her not acting like herself earlier in the day. Audrey assures her that all she needs is some rest – but fails to mention that she’s currently lying in a hospital bed!

Ken comes face to face with Wendy

Wendy relates her history with Ken to Abi, who urges her to make things up with him. Abi pledges to deal with Tracy, and ends up steering her towards the café, while Wendy calls round at No 1.

Corrie isn’t yet revealing how Ken react to the reunion, but what we can reveal is that Tracy does eventually get wind of what’s going on and marches over to the house, ready for a stand-up row…

The search for Stu’s daughter

Zeedan is invited by a mate to spend the week of Athens, which prompts Stu to enthuse about the family holidays he himself had there.

These reminiscences result in Yasmeen imploring Stu not to give up on his daughter, but to instead try to track her down. Privately, Yasmeen then confides in Zee that she’s taken it upon herself to find Stu’s offspring herself.
