Coronation Street spoilers: Passion blooms for Ryan and Daisy, Carla fights for the factory
The outcome of Stephen's storyline remains under wraps for now
The shock events regarding Stephen’s actions will continue to reverberate through the neighbourhood on Coronation Street next week. Can the residents recover? And what will the police find as they continue their investigations? The ITV soap is keeping its cards close to its chest as regards the answers to these questions.
But in other news, we’ll see Daisy and Ryan crossing the line, while there’s bad news for Michael over at Underworld.

Will Ryan give his talk to the STC?
Ryan tells Daniel that he’s feeling anxious ahead of the talk to the kids in the STC. But Daniel is sure that Ryan will benefit from the experience and persuades him to go along.

To help him overcome his fears, Daniel then summons Daisy, who offers to give the talk alongside a grateful Ryan. Following the event, Daisy praises Ryan’s performance and tells him that this success means he can show his scars and put a stop to his online stripping. But will Ryan agree?
Shock passion for Daisy and Ryan
And yet, in the aftermath of the talk he’s delivered, Ryan once again injects himself with steroids before going out for a walk with Daisy. But when he’s sprayed with a fizzy drink thanks to Max and Gav larking about, Ryan loses his cool and pins Gav to the ground. Subsequently, Ryan will be seen breaking down in tears and confessing that he’s been abusing steroids.
Realising that it’s time to stop lying, Ryan goes live online and removes his filter before revealing that he’s closing the account and intends to start being himself again. But there’s fresh deceit on the horizon when, after watching the video, Daisy ends up calling round to the flat, where she praises Ryan’s honesty before kissing him passionately.
Daisy is left feeling dreadful about cheating on Daniel, while Lauren is to work out what Ryan has done and blackmails him for £1000 when he announces that he plans on moving back to Carla’s. Can Ryan buy Lauren’s silence and come up with the cash?
Michael loses his job as Underworld’s future hangs in the balance
As the police investigation continues, Carla tries to assure her workforce that she intends to fight her hardest to save the factory. Her plan is fly out to Spain and try to secure a lucrative deal. But while the likes of Beth, Kirk and Simon fret about their wages, Michael learns that he’ll be losing his job.
After realising he’ll be unemployed, Michael informs Ed that he will need the investment money back, otherwise there’ll be nothing in his bank account to live on. Ronnie then suggests that they each give him £1,000, but Ed is left agitated as he knows he can’t afford to part with that amount of money. But when Ed later tries give his son a grand, he refuses to accept the cash.
Will Todd and George reunite?
George is struggling with his workload and Todd can’t help but feel responsible, seeing as his jibes about Shuttleworth’s assistant Lee has left George by himself.
Todd then confides his feelings in Paul, who deliberately lets slip to a flabbergasted George that Todd recommended Shuttleworth’s for Shelly’s funeral, as he was sure they’d do a better job than Rest Easy. George then manages to get Todd to confess his disillusionment with the rival firm before inviting him back to resume his old duties…
