A Coronation Street superfan has pledged allegiance to the iconic soap - by having its stars faces tattooed on her leg.

Lindsay Pearce, 38, has Hayley Cropper (Julie Hesmondhalgh), Rita Sullivan (Barbara Knox) and Norris Cole (Malcolm Hebden) inked onto her left leg by tattoo artist husband, Steve, 47.

Their unique Weatherfield-themed body art is all in color and each face has an impressive likeness to its on-screen counterpart.

The dedicated couple are not stopping there either - they’re making a pilgrimage over the Atlantic next month.

Lindsay and Steve are traveling over to Manchester to complete their Corrie homage, where they’ll complete the tattoo set in front of an audience at the Tattoo Tea Party.

According to Lindsay the hardest part of the tattoo, which has so far taken 15 sessions to complete, was narrowing down which classic characters should feature.
