Coronation Street's Geoff scares Sally with new outburst, and 9 more soap moments this week

1. Coronation Street: Geoff fears he's losing control

(Monday and Wednesday at 7.30pm on ITV)

Still reeling from the revelation that Geoff was hiring escorts, Sally is horrified to learn from Cathy that he locked Yasmeen up inside his magician's box. With Alya wanting her to stand as a witness in her gran's defence, Sal decides she needs to see Yasmeen herself and is stunned by what she tells her.

When Geoff hears where Sally has been, he loses his temper at his daughter-in-law, just as Tim walks in to witness his outburst. While infuriated Sally rows with Tim over his refusal to see his dad's true colours, Geoff panics that he's starting to lose his grip on Yasmeen and applies for a prison visit. The process proves difficult, however, so Geoff returns to work at Speed Daal, much to Alya's dismay.

Later, after overhearing Alya telling Imran that she's expecting a call from Yasmeen, the malevolent magician swipes Alya's phone and intercepts the call.

2. Emmerdale: Moira in hit and run horror

Unable to carry on living a lie, Harriet comes clean to Moira about her affair with Malone, and reveals that Cain was mixed up in the crooked cop's dealings at the garage. While Moira fumes at her estranged husband's illegal antics, Will warns Cain that Malone is back on the scene. He confronts their nemesis, but when Malone announces that he has a new interest in the village, jealous Cain jumps to the conclusion that he means Moira.

Later, the dodgy DI breaks into Butler's and threatens Moira to keep quiet about him and Harriet, but is seen leaving the farm by Cain, who's left convinced they're sleeping together.

As Cain plots his revenge, he receives a call to say Moira has been the victim of a hit and run incident. Was Malone behind the wheel of the vehicle that mowed her down?

3. Hollyoaks: Darren opens up to Nancy

(Monday at 7pm on E4 and Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)

Kyle's loved ones prepare to lay him to rest this week, but heartbroken Nancy is adamant that she's not going to her fiancée's funeral. Darren is also finding it tough coming to terms with what has happened as he keeps cancelling his therapy sessions. He decides to pay Nancy a visit, and as she blames herself for Kyle's death, Darren opens up about his own attempt to take his life.

The shock revelation stuns Nancy, and she insists Darren speaks to Mandy about his struggles, otherwise she'll do it for him.

Mandy, Luke and Cindy also arrive at the Osbornes' and try their hardest to coax Nancy out of bed, fearing she'll regret not saying a final goodbye to Kyle.

4. Neighbours: Andrea abducts Hugo

(Wednesday at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5)

As Andrea puts her plan to kidnap Hugo into action, Dee wakes up in prison to discover that her twisted twin has switched places with her. She tries to convince the prison guards she's not Andrea, but they think she's playing a prank. Luckily, Heather knows she's telling the truth and helps Dee raise the alarm.

Elsewhere, Andrea – posing as Dee – arrives back in Erinsborough and snatches Hugo. Terrified Toadie begins to fear the worst, but he's unaware that Andrea is hiding out in an abandoned house with their son and prison guard Owen.

Meanwhile, Heather finds a burner phone buried in the prison garden and realises Andrea has left it there to keep in touch. After reaching a decision to side with Toadie, Heather receives a call from Andrea and offers her a plan.

Andrea agrees to meet her mum, totally unaware she's walking straight into a trap. But Heather's mission to rescue Hugo is at risk of going horribly wrong when Toadie intervenes.

5. Emmerdale: Jamie hunts for Andrea

Jamie is finding it hard to move on from Andrea, despite Kim insisting he needs to forget all about her. And the vet is seething when he finds a photograph taken when Millie and Andrea were hiding out in Take a Vow, indicating Leyla was helping them.

Jamie confronts Leyla, but she insists she doesn't know Andrea's whereabouts since she scarpered from the village again.

Fearful over his wife's disappearing act, Jamie dials 1471 after Kim tells him she received a strange anonymous call. He's able to trace the call, and drives off determined to bring Andrea back to the Dales. But as events take an unexpected turn, Jamie could regret making the journey.

6. Coronation Street: Leanne's on the brink

(Monday and Wednesday at 7.30pm on ITV)

The trauma of Oliver's diagnosis is taking its toll on Leanne, as she arrives to pick her son up from a sleepover at Steve's still dressed in her pyjamas. Nick manages to steer her home and seeks medical help, but Leanne reacts badly when Dr Gaddas suggests she should consider counselling or medication.

Next it's Toyah's turn to bear the brunt of her sister's devastation when Leanne's harsh words leave her in tears. After a talking-to from Nick, Leanne feels guilty for taking her grief out on Toyah and says sorry.

Accepting her sibling's apology, Toyah asks her friend Josie, who runs a support group for parents with terminally ill children, over to Leanne's flat. The two women sit down to talk, and Leanne is comforted as Josie shares her own story.

7. Hollyoaks: Sienna and Warren deal with the aftermath of their snog

(Monday at 7pm on E4 and Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)

Warren tries to take Sienna's mind off worrying about Sebastian by suggesting they teach Sophie how to ride a bike together. But she's thrown into panic when she hears their son's appointment is being moved forward. Fortunately it's good news, and Dr Fry tells Sienna and Warren that Sebastian is responding so well to treatment he can return home tomorrow.

Relieved and overjoyed by the positive outcome, the former couple get caught up in the moment and share a kiss. Sienna instantly feels awful for betraying Brody, especially when he surprises her with a heartfelt present, but Warren urges to keep their encounter a secret as it could ruin her relationship.

8. Home and Away: Jasmine's spiralling out of control

(Tuesday at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5)

Alarm bells are ringing for Justin when he discovers Tori has left Grace in Jasmine's care for the day, and he's unable to get hold of the nurse. Eventually, Justin finds Jasmine has taken Grace back to hers, and he angrily demands to know what she's playing at. She claims her phone was on silent, but Justin doesn't buy her explanation. It seems he has good reason to be wary when Jasmine secretly creates a fake persona in an online mum's forum.

Willow is also unable to ignore Jasmine's worrying behaviour, but her attempt to reason with her is met with a furious response when Jasmine chucks her out and sacks her from the gym.

As the realisation of what she has done to her friend dawns on Jasmine, she breaks down on Colby, consumed with fear over what's happening to her.

9. EastEnders: Secrets from the Square – Martin Fowler and Kush Kazemi

(Monday at 8pm on BBC One)

Taking us on a trip down memory lane this week are bessie mates on and off screen, James Bye and Davood Ghadami (aka Martin Fowler and Kush Kazemi). Dubbed the 'naughty kids at the back of the class' by some of the production crew, the duo reveal what it was like for their characters to be caught in a love triangle with Stacey Slater, Davood re-lives Kush's One Direction dance routine, and James spills the beans on the time he thought he'd accidentally killed a stuntman.

As well as looking back on some classic Fowler family moments, and discussing the Kazemi family's hard-hitting knife crime story, James also treats viewers to an access-all-areas tour around Walford, including Martin's beloved market.

10. EastEnders: Iconic episode – Syed and Amira's wedding

'Enders are throwing it back a decade to one of their most explosive and memorable weddings in the show's history – the nuptials of Syed Masood and Amira Shah. First broadcast on New Year's Day 2010, the second half of this two-parter picks up just an hour before the ceremony, and the moment Christian Clarke had revealed to Syed's mum Zainab the truth about her son's sexuality and their passionate love affair.

The revelation led to a charged confrontation between Zainab and Syed, and as Amira prepared to marry the man of her dreams, Christian was on his way to stop the wedding. But did he go through with it?
