Coronation Street's Sally Dynevor says 'thank you' as she bags new TV role
Coronation Street icon Sally Dynevor has shared her gratitude after landing a new job away from the soap.
The Sally Metcalfe actress has not had far to go, with her latest role seeing her appear on a fellow ITV programme. Sally has been in Weatherfield for almost four decades, having first appeared on the cobbles back in 1986.
But on Monday Sally swapped her soap role for something else entirely. She joined Loose Women as a guest panellist, and it certainly went down well with her many Instagram followers.

The 60-year-old joined regular hosts Charlene White, Brenda Edwards and Linda Robson for the popular lunchtime programme, as well as UK music legend Lulu, who is celebrating a huge six decades in the industry.
Afterwards Sally shared a snap of the women together on social media and said: "Thank you @loosewomen for having me on the show, and making me feel so welcome."
Sally Carman, who plays Abi Webster in Corrie, said: "You look lovely, Sal" and fans have also been quick to respond in the comments section. Jenny said: "Hope you're on more often Sally really loved you being on the show".
Mary said: "Watched because you were on Sally you were lovely" and Lisa said: "One of the nicest women on TV!"
