Shayne Ward has reportedly been left “hugely embarrassed” after an x-rated sex tape of him leaked online.

The Coronation Street actor – who won the Best Newcomer award for his role as Aiden Connor at the 2016 NTA’s – has allegedly been left red-faced after an explicit video of him pleasuring himself was released on Twitter.

Snapshots and GIFs of the video have been circulating on social media, while blurred stills reveal Shayne’s face and chest tattoos, leading to huge embarrassment for the former X Factor winner.

A source told The Sun that Shayne couldn’t believe that the privately shot footage – which was filmed years ago, when he was very much single – had even surfaced online in the first place.

“This video is years old,” the source revealed. “Shayne was single at the time and it happened when he was on tour with War of the Worlds.

“He’s so embarrassed this has happened. The conversation between him and the supposed woman have left him hugely red faced. He can’t believe anyone would do this.”

They added: “He thought it was a private chat and a one-off and only realised he had been catfished after the video emerged today.”

It is not known when or where the video came from, but a now-deleted CelebrityBusted Twitter account allegedly offered to sell copies of the footage after it leaked.

This comes months after Shayne and his girlfriend Sophie Austin, who went public with their relationship four months ago, announced the news they are expecting their first baby.

Shayne, 32, tweeted: “After much speculation I’m over joyed to announce that @sophieaustin1 and I are expecting our first child. #blessed”

And speaking of Twitter, the soap star has yet to reference the recent controversy on social media. #awkward?
