Yahoo News Corrie reveals a brand new Phelan and Andy twist
Coronation Street's Andy Carver has a very intriguing proposal for Pat Phelan next week as he continues to fight for his freedom.
Andy (Oliver Farnworth) is still locked up in Phelan's secret cellar after recently missing out on a chance to become a free man again.
Determined not to give up so easily, Andy begs Phelan (Connor McIntyre) for another chance to prove himself next week.
Andy has clearly given this a lot of thought, as he's come up with a clever way that Phelan (Connor McIntyre) can guarantee his silence forever once he's free.
So, how would it work? Well, Andy offers to commit a shocking crime of his own as soon as Phelan lets him out.
Andy points out that he wouldn't then be able to grass up Phelan without implicating himself.
Phelan is gobsmacked as Andy explains his twisted reasoning, but could the Weatherfield villain be tempted to take him up on this offer?
We've already seen that Phelan does want to free Andy, but his biggest concern is the possibility of being reported straight to the police for all of his evil crimes.
Might this new story twist lead to Andy's release at long last? And if so, what kind of criminal act would he have to commit to satisfy Phelan?
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
