Yahoo News Corrie spoilers! Here's what's next for pregnant Eva
Coronation Street's Toyah Battersby will urge Eva Price to tell Aidan Connor the truth about his baby next week.
The ITV soap just confirmed that Eva (Catherine Tyldesley) is pregnant with Aidan's child – a discovery that will leave her in turmoil over the next few days as she privately considers her next move.
Wednesday night's first visit to Weatherfield (January 17) saw Eva confide in Shona Ramsey, explaining that her current boyfriend Adam Barlow couldn't be the father.
Next Wednesday (January 24), Eva finally seems ready to tell Aidan the truth about the baby when she asks him to meet her at the Rovers Return.
Shortly afterwards, Peter Barlow sees Maria Connor being comforted by Aidan over Luke Britton's death and wrongly assumes that the former lovers must be an item again. Bad timing!
When Peter passes the juicy gossip on to Eva, she suddenly changes her mind about telling Aidan the truth – realising that she'll never be able to fully trust him after his past affair with Maria.
Eva then continues to lean on Shona as her main confidante, but her secret starts to spread when Toyah hears the new friends chatting.
Stunned by the baby news, Toyah agrees to take Eva to the hospital for a scan. By making the trip, Toyah is selflessly putting own heartbreak to one side after learning that surrogate mum Jacqui has lost the child she was carrying for her and Peter.
When Eva's scan reveals everything is fine, Toyah implores her to keep the baby and tell Aidan everything. Will Eva listen to her advice?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday, January 24 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
