Yahoo News Corrie's Bethany issues a warning over Adam Barlow
Coronation Street's Bethany Platt shares some strong feelings on her mum's love life tonight (June 19).
Bethany (Lucy Fallon) can't resist interfering as it looks like Sarah has finally turned her back on Gary Windass for good.
Recent episodes have seen Bethany try to play matchmaker between Sarah and Gary (Mikey North) following their break-up, unaware that her mother has already moved on.
Wednesday's Corrie double bill sees Sarah return home early from her romantic hotel visit with her new lover Adam Barlow (Samuel Robertson).
The pair had met up for some time alone, but an argument over Gary and the worrying reappearance of Rick Neelan on the cobbles led to them being interrupted.
Once back home tonight, Sarah decides to take the honest approach by telling Bethany that Adam is her new boyfriend and there's no going back with Gary.
Still fiercely loyal to Gary, unhappy Bethany speaks her mind and warns Sarah that she's making a big mistake.
Tina O'Brien, who plays Sarah, recently explained: "I have really enjoyed playing a different side to Sarah and Sam Robertson is great to work with. Sarah's wardrobe has even started to change and even though the Platts are at war with each other, it's lovely for Sarah to have some happiness.
"With Adam, she isn't thinking about the future, she is just enjoying the attention from Adam and the feeling of being wanted."
Tonight's episodes will also confirm the outcome of Gary and Rick's violent showdown in the woods, after Monday's cliffhanger saw them fighting to the death.
Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
