Yahoo News Corrie's Nick in trouble as Leanne uncovers lie
Coronation Street's Nick Tilsley faces a major new problem tonight (May 22) as Leanne Battersby starts to lose faith in him.
Nick (Ben Price) is currently trying to cover up the truth about Audrey Roberts' missing money, but his strange behaviour is arousing suspicion that he could have been involved in the Underworld roof sabotage.
As Nick lives in fear that the net is closing in, Wednesday night's double bill sees his lawyer Paula Martin come looking for him for an urgent chat.
Paula's stern mood causes Leanne (Jane Danson) to grow uneasy about what's going on, sensing that something isn't right.
Leanne is given food for thought when Nick's sister Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) tells her that he used the factory accounts to sort out his debts with estranged wife Elsa. This doesn't match up with other claims from Nick, leaving Leanne suspicious.
As Leanne, Sarah and Toyah all get together to discuss the troubling situation, they realise that Nick's dodgy finances are at the centre of everything.
Their initial theory is that Nick must have done a deal with loan shark Rick Neelan to fund the barber's, so they decide to track down the villain and quiz him.
With Leanne slowly realising that Nick hasn't been honest with her, is their relationship now in trouble?
Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
