Could Tinie Tempah Replace Chris Evans On Top Gear?

In case you missed it Chris Evans stepped down from hosting Top Gear last week, tweeting at the time: “Gave it my best shot but sometimes that’s not enough. The team are beyond brilliant, I wish them all the best”.

While it’s not yet been announced who, if anyone, will replace Chris, some stars have been dropping hints that they’d love to try their hand at the role - one of those being Tinie Tempah.

Digital Spy reports that Tinie spoke to Scottish radio station Clyde 1 about wanting to present the iconic BBC motoring show, telling producers to get in contact.

He said: “If they want me to do it - I’m putting that out there. I’d love to be the host.”

Lethal Bizzle has also expressed an interest in the job having previously been approached to present the new series.

He told Daily Star Online: “They did contact me and asked me to try out for the gig but I thought they wouldn’t take me seriously.

“I should have gone to the audition but I didn’t and after that they gave Chris the job. Now ratings keep going down I may be in luck.

“I have more bants than Chris does anyway.”

He added: “It is a generation thing, I think they need to mix up the show. For you to relate to a younger audience you need people who they respect and can relate to.

“It’s a well known fact that I’m a big fan of cars. I’ll bring a total different energy to the show. If I keep making noise about it you never know.”
