Couple Holds a Halloween-Themed Wedding in Elmira Heights, New York

Halloween came early for New York resident Karen Cole and her family. Cole captured video of her cousin’s Halloween-themed wedding, held in Elmira Heights on October 19.

The video shows the bridesmaids and groomsmen wearing various Halloween masks and formal attire while standing at an altar made of plastic jack-o’-lanterns.

The bride, wearing a black veil, and the groom, can be seen exchanging vows in front of their guests, who witnessed the spooky ceremony from the cemetery-themed seating area.

Cole told Storyful her cousin, John Gublo, loves Halloween and wanted to incorporate the theme into his wedding. The guests were asked to dress up in costume, or formally, and the decorations were organised by Gublo, who is an artist, according to Cole. Credit: Karen Cole via Storyful

Passenger Bus Crashes Into Saint Petersburg River
A bus crashed off a bridge and into the Moyka River in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on Friday, May 10, with local police saying around 20 people were on board.Local media reported that at least five people died, with four “seriously injured”.
