Coventry City man issues parting message with special mention to Adi Viveash

Matty Godden has issued a farewell message to Coventry City and the club’s fans following his transfer to League One Charlton Athletic.

The 32-year-old striker has moved to the League One club for an ‘undisclosed’ fee, signing a two year contract at The Valley to bring an end to five years with the Sky Blues.

Taking to instagram to say his good-byes, Godden wrote: “On behalf of me and my family I want to thank you all the most incredible 5 years. From Champions of League 1 to 50 goals, it's something I’m very proud of.
