The Coventry pub with 'modern dishes' that's 'great value for money'

A popular Coventry pub has been hailed as a 'value for money' offering 'great flavourful food' within a relaxing setting. The Devonshire Arms has been praised by locals over the years and has received many positive reviews online.

The establishment is run by Sizzling Pubs, on Sewall Highway in Wyken, and prides itself on offering 'flavour-filled' menus, combining pub classics and modern dishes at 'great prices'. Bosses say it's an ideal place for lunch with workmates or dinner with friends.

The menu includes the new spicy Tandoori Chicken, Vegan ribs, Greek-style chicken, Dirty Burgers, and the Gyros Feast. There are also deals for kids' meals and lunch specials for diners to take advantage of.

• Kids' meal deal with a main, dessert, and drink for £4.49 for under 5s and £5.49 for over 5s from 12pm daily.

• Kids eat for £1 from 3pm Monday to Friday

• 2 mains from £11.75 from 12pm Monday to Friday

Bosses say the main menu is filled with 'enticing dishes' including comforting pub classics like Chicken Mushroom Pie, plus global cuisines like Crispy Katsu Prawns and 'immense' burgers such as the Laying It On Chick Burger and Boss Burger.

• 7oz Gammon Steak - Topped with pineapple and a fried free-range egg, served with chips and peas. £8.29.

• Beef and Red Wine Lasagne - served with two slices of garlic bread. £8.29

• The Greek - A beef burger topped with Greek-style chicken, American-style cheesy slices, onion rings, and jalapeños, drizzled with hot sauce and tzatziki. £11.29

Devonshire Arms has a 4-star rating on Tripadvisor, with other ratings including food (4.5/5), service (4.5/5), value (4.5/5) and atmosphere (4/5). The pub also has a 4.2-star rating on Google reviews.

Jane Whetton said: "Visited here with friends for lunch there is a nice friendly atmosphere, and the menu has great choices. Some great offers on the lunch menu and the drink offers are great. The food was delicious and we will visit again."
