A crash is causing delays on the outskirts of Newport on the Isle of Wight this morning (Friday).

Emergency services have been called to Blackwater Road, at its junction with Blackwater Hollow, the County Press has been told.

The collision is leading to tailbacks in the area.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary has said it was called at 7.24am to a report of a collision involving a car and a motorcycle on Blackwater Road.

One person reported minor injuries.
