Blast Crater Found After Missile Attack Outside Kyiv

A large crater was seen just outside the village of Buda-Babynetska, outside Kyiv, after a Russian missile attack on the morning of Thursday, February 15, Bucha’s Mayor Anatoly Fedoruk said.

Footage posted to Telegram by Fedoruk shows the huge hole in the ground left in a forest just outside the village. Fedoruk said a downed missile caused the impact.

Local journalist Illia Ponomarenko visited the site after the images emerged. “It’s real,” he said on X, adding that he could “clearly see the scorched ground and the radial halo of the blast wave around the crater.”
