Cricket Teams Stumped by Bail Balancing on Wicket

Both players and umpires on the Sunshine Coast were stumped by a blip in physics on October 7 when a bail that was shuttled landed perfectly atop the wicket.

During a match between Caloundra and Caboolture in the former’s home ground on Sunday, Caboolture batsman Joel Saunders was cleaned bowled by Damien Smith and had both his wickets dislodged. When Smith’s team mates rushed onto the field to celebrate, they saw one of the bails balancing perfectly on top of the stump.
