Crying woman beater says 'I don't want to spend a very long time in prison'

A man has admitted beating a woman multiple times and damaging her property over a period of three months.

Abdulah Noor, 24, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court today, April 23, where he pleaded guilty to three counts of common assault, criminal damage, taking a motor vehicle - a SEAT car - without the owner's consent, and possession of a class B drug, cannabis. The offences occurred in January, February and March 2023.

Noor, of Breeze Hill, Walton, appeared in court from HMP Altcourse via a video link and wiped away tears throughout the hearing. Before entering his guilty pleas, he said: "I just feel like I'd like to accept all of the stuff in order for me not to get a very long time in prison, which I don't want."
