A CYCLIST slapped and slammed a car door into a teenage girl after a road rage incident in Bournemouth.

It was reported that at around 8.25pm on Monday, June 24 the girl and her mother were pulling out of a driveway in Fernside Road when the teenager spotted a bicycle approaching.

She told her mother to stop and the male cyclist also stopped his bike to avoid colliding with the car but subsequently fell off his bicycle.

As the girl and her mother got out to check if he was all right, the man reportedly became abusive towards them.

He slammed the passenger door into the girl’s left shoulder before slapping her in the face.

The teenager alerted a man who was passing by and confronted the cyclist, telling him to leave.
