Fancy cheering on the likes of Kem Cetinay, Brooke Vincent and Jake Quickenden in person at the Dancing on Ice live shows? Well, we've got good news: there are plenty of audience tickets still available and, better yet, they're completely free!

But there is a catch – annoying, we know. As you can't purchase tickets with cash, you have to fill in an application form through SRO Audiences instead, and you can only apply for a maximum of two tickets. As we've seen with shows like The X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing in the past, this means there's no way you can 100% guarantee yourself a place in the audience as tickets are awarded to people completely at random. If you're lucky enough to be chosen, you'll be notified via email.

However, just because you haven't heard back, that doesn't mean you're out of the race. The reason SRO Audiences don't notify people if they've been unsuccessful is because there's a waiting list. Once successful applicants are notified, they are instructed to reply as quickly as possible to confirm that they can definitely make the show on that date. If they can't, those on the waiting list will be in with a chance of taking their place and returned tickets will again be issued at random. Returns can come at any time, so make sure you're on standby just in case.

On the application form, you can pick which date you would like to attend. On some dates, you may see a note stating "waiting list only". This means that all tickets for that date have already been allocated. But remember, there is an option to apply to go on the waiting list. And it's completely free to do so, so why the heck not?

Don't try to be clever by applying repeatedly for the same date as this will not increase your chances of getting a ticket. SRO Audiences have strict rules when it comes to this and if they catch you doing it (and they will), your entry will be discounted. Sounds harsh, but organisers are trying to make the system as fair as possible.

Word of warning to successful applicants, make sure you get to the set as early as possible. Just because you have a ticket, it does not guarantee you entry. If you turn up and the studio is full, you may very well be turned away. So make sure you arrive with plenty of time to spare. Doors open at 4.10pm every Sunday. You have been warned!

Another heads up, make sure whoever applies for the tickets is actually attending. On arrival, you may be asked for photo ID, and as the tickets are non-transferable, if your details don't match, you simply will not be allowed entry. It's also worth flagging that there are age restrictions to be in the audience. The minimum age is 14 years old, and anyone in attendance aged 17 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult of 18 years or over.

Tickets for the live tour range from £40 to £150. You can purchase them by clicking here.

Enjoy!
