Dancing on Ice 2018 sees its first elimination
Candice Brown has become the first celebrity to be eliminated from the revamped Dancing on Ice.
Candice and her professional partner Matt Evers were voted off by the judges after facing Lemar and Melody Le Moal in the dreaded skate-off.
The Great British Bake Off 2016 winner Candice and Matt received the fewest votes from the public last weekend, while singer Lemar and Melody were the losers this week, forcing them both to fight for their place in the show.
Candice and Matt skated again to Vanessa Carlton's 'A Thousand Miles', while Lemar and Melody performed to 'Grenade' by Bruno Mars for the second time this evening.
The fate of both couples was in the hands of the judges.
Jason Gardiner chose to save Candice as he felt her routine was "cleaner with more shape and style".
Ashley Banjo agreed and saved Candice, although he said he 'felt' for Lemar as he has had less time to learn to skate due to his late entry.
Jayne Torvill chose to save Lemar, saying that he has done really well with his limited time.
Christopher Dean said that Candice's routine was stronger, but that Lemar was the stronger skater overall.
He chose to save Lemar – and as Christopher had final say in his role as head judge, Lemar was saved.
