Stephanie Waring has hit out at any suggestion that her Dancing on Ice partnership with Sylvain Longchambon could get awkward.

It's been claimed that the two might have issues because of his history with some of her Hollyoaks colleagues.

Not only did Sylvain break up with Hollyoaks' Jennifer Metcalfe back in 2012, but there seemed to be an awful lot of awkward moments between Sylvain and Jorgie Porter during their Dancing on Ice All-Stars stint in 2014.

Asked about the possibility that her partnership with Sylvain may be a bit (ahem) frosty, Stephanie was having absolutely none of it.

"It's ridiculous," she told Digital Spy.

"This has got nothing to do with me. Anything that went on before is none of my business. This is about me and Sylvain doing a professional job. That's what it is - a job."

She continued: "He is teaching me to dance on ice, basically. That is the task that we've been given and that's what I've been doing.

"I don't have any thoughts about anything else that went on. I think Sylvain's great, he's an amazing teacher, he's funny and we get on well."

Stephanie added: "I think that's important for a partnership.

"The rest is none of my business. I've got nothing to say about it because it's ridiculous. It was five years ago so move on everyone."

You heard the woman - MOVE ON.

An utterly adorable teaser trailer featuring some cutesy polar bears dropped earlier this month promising the return of Dancing on Ice in the New Year.

The show is returning after a whopping four-year break, but we don't have an airdate just yet, though we do know pretty much everything else.

This Morning's Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are coming back as hosts, while Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean (aka British Olympic skating legends Torvill and Dean) return, but this time ss head judges rather than mentors.

Jason Gardiner is confirmed to return as a judge and Diversity's Ashley Banjo completes the panel.

The full celebrity lineup for the Dancing on Ice 2018 was teased over several days and has now been announced in full.

Joining Stephanie Waring are Antony Cotton, Perri Shakes-Drayton, Donna Air, Alex Beresford, Jake Quickenden, Max Evans, Candice Brown, Kem Cetinay, Cheryl Baker and Brooke Vincent.

Singer Lemar has also joined the show after Monty Panesar was forced to quit with an injury.
