We take a look back at everything you need to know about the latest series of Dancing on Ice...
Who was in the Dancing on Ice final?
Ryan Thomas with Amani Fancy
Ryan Thomas and Amani Fancy won the show. By joining Dancing on Ice, Thomas has followed his brother Adam's footsteps after his famous sibling recently competed in Strictly Come Dancing.
"Putting yourself out of your comfort zone isn't necessarily a comfortable place to be but he's been nothing but positive about his experience on Strictly," Ryan said about his brother. "If I get half of what he got out of this, then I'll be happy."
The actor is known for his role as Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street, and his appearances on Celebrity Big Brother amongst other things.
Miles Nazaire with Vanessa Bauer
TV personality Miles Nazaire may be best known for appearing on Made in Chelsea but he proved his skills on the ice, coming second in the reality series.
Nazaire said: "I’ve always loved to dance but it’s usually on a dance floor on a Saturday night and Dancing on Ice looks so difficult. I keep thinking about how I’m going to need to have rhythm while balancing on a thin blade and that's when I feel the nerves kick in, but this is such an unbelievable opportunity to get totally out of my comfort zone."
Adele Roberts with Mark Henretty
Adele Roberts was saved from the bottom two in the semi final but she sailed through to the final and she came in third place.
She signed up for the show two years after she was diagnosed with bowel cancer. The radio and TV star, who got the all clear in 2022, still has a stoma bag and said she wanted to show what was possible and that the programme was part of her journey to reclaim her body back from cancer.
“It's ‘bricking it on ice’ for me!" Roberts told host Lorraine Kelly of the competition. "I think the hardest part is putting myself out there as I usually hide away. I did radio as it's not visual. That’s going to be a big challenge. After cancer I have my life back; I actually can’t wait for the glam!"
Greg Rutherford with Vanessa James
Olympian Greg Rutherford was originally named in the four for the final but unfortunately he had to pull out of performing in the Dancing on Ice final due to an injury he sustained during training. As a result, he was totally gutted.
In an update, he shared his recovery process. He wrote on Instagram: "Recovery sort of starts now... After a pretty rough first night, I'm looking forward to getting everything sorted and sewn up so I can get back to normal. Thank you all so much for your kind messages."
He had swapped his running shoes for his ice skates on Dancing On Ice.
Ahead of his stint, he shared his excitement: "My kids love dancing around so hopefully they are going to enjoy watching me dance with blades on my feet. I think this is going to be a really different experience but one that will be quite exciting. I like a challenge and I needed a reason to go out and do stuff again and here we are. I want to perform something that's never been done before, that's my aim. I'll go 100,000% on this. I'll try hard, I'm in no way expecting to be good but I will work as hard as I can."
Rutherford is a retired track and field athlete specialising in the long jump, and he is best known for winning a gold medal at the 2012 Olympic games.
Who left Dancing on Ice early?
Amber Davies with Simon Sénécal - eliminated eighth
Amber Davies missed out on a place in the finale.
Despite scoring full marks, the former Love Island star was eliminated after her skate off with Adele Roberts. She was in the bottom two for a third week in a row.
Since finding fame on Love Island, Davies has been making a career for herself on the West End stage. Ahead of starring on Dancing on Ice, Davies admitted she was a bit surprised when she was approached about the show.
"I was elated and over the moon when I got the call for Dancing On Ice because I hadn't been on telly in so long, I thought... I thought that ship had potentially sailed," she said.
Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards with Vicky Ogden - eliminated 7th
Former ski-jumper Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards, with partner Vicky Ogden, faced a skate-off against Amber Davies, and while the panel was initially split on the decision head judge Christopher Dean sent the winter Olympian packing.
Edwards joined the latest series of Dancing on Ice as a last-minute replacement after Gogglebox star Stephen Lustig-Webb was forced to bow out due to an ankle injury sustained during training.
Edwards is best known as the first athlete to represent Team GB in ski jumping during the 1988 Olympics. His story was later transformed into the 2016 movie Eddie The Eagle starring Taron Egerton and Hugh Jackman.
Ricky Norwood with Annette Dytrt - eliminated 6th
Soap star Ricky Norwood was the sixth contestant to exit Dancing On Ice 2024. He faced a skate-off with Amber Davies after receiving the lowest votes on 18 February, and did a routine to Bob Marley and the Wailers Three Little Birds, but the judges voted to save Davies instead.
Norwood, 40, is best known for having played Fatboy in EastEnders between 2010 and 2015, with a brief return to the role in 2023.
He's no stranger to reality TV, having danced in the 2013 Christmas special of Strictly Come Dancing, and he also took part in 2016's Celebrity Big Brother.
Roxy Shahidi and Sylvain Longchambon - eliminated 4th
Emmerdale's Shahidi and pro partner Sylvain Longchambon were the lowest scorers of the weekend following their Moulin Rouge-inspired performance, meaning they were immediately taken out of the competition in Week 4.
"It's brutal, I was looking forward to doing my save dance!" Shahidi told Willoughby in the aftermath.
"I'm really proud of what I've done, what I've learnt – [Longchambon]'s been amazing, and the whole experience has been incredible."
Lou Sanders and Brendyn Hatfield - eliminated 5th
As the second-lowest pairings, comedian Lou Sanders and Brendyn Hatfield, and EastEnders' Ricky Norwood and Annette Dytrt were then sent into a tense dance-off.
Tellingly, it was a whitewash on the judging panel as Johnny Weir, Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean each chose to save the soap actor.
"It's all about never giving up, so we will be back next week," joked Sanders. "I've had the time of my life – [Brendyn's] been amazing.
"He said his insurance has gone up working with me!"
Claire Sweeney and Colin Grafton - eliminated 3rd
Claire Sweeney said Dancing On Ice had been “incredible” as she became the third contestant to be sent home in series 16.
The actor and singer received her marching orders after ending up in the skate-off against comedian Lou Sanders, who the judges decided to keep in the competition.
Sweeney – who was paired with pro skater Colin Grafton - had sprained her rib during rehearsals and said that she was happy she’d “got through the day”.
“This has been the most wonderful experience of my life,” she posted on Instagram after being eliminated. Sharing a snap of her and Grafton on the ice, she added: “Thank you to everyone involved in the show and to my wonderful partner.”
Hannah Spearritt with Andy Buchanan - eliminated 2nd
S Club member Hannah Spearritt became the second contestant to be sent home in series 16.
The 42-year-old singer said: "Everyone’s been fantastic and to be part of this with Andy, it’s been an absolute joy, so thank you for the journey." Spearritt revealed she had suffered a "nasty fall" during rehearsal and was proud to have been able to perform to Let It Go from Disney film Frozen for her two daughters.
Her casting on Dancing on Ice follows her decision not to join her fellow bandmates for their reunion tour following the death of member Paul Cattermole in April. On GMB, Spearritt said of joiningt: "I'm really excited about learning a new skill. It's so easy to live your comfortable life and that aspect of mixing things up is very appealing. Fitness is another reason why I'm doing it! It's really exciting."
Ricky Hatton with Robin Johnstone - eliminated 1st
Boxer Ricky Hatton was the first star to leave Dancing on Ice 2024. Ahead of his stint on the ice, Hatton, 44, had said: "If I can hold my nerve in the boxing ring I should be able to hold my nerve in the ice rink. I like setting new challenges and keeping myself busy!"
"It was well documented that I struggled when I retired from boxing amongst a few other things and I'm trying to do my bit for mental health. When I retired I was sat there with nothing to do and my world fell apart a little bit," he added. "It's all about keeping busy and doing things that are positive and new adventures."
