Danica Taylor nearly quit 'Love Island' following a bust up with Billy Brown.

The 21-year-old dancer was left feeling "violated and disrespected" after he rejected her during a game of Snog, Marry, Pie and then told the lads what he and Danica had been up to after a steamy night together, but she has now revealed the producers helped her and convinced her to stay on the ITV2 show.

She said: "The producers helped me a lot and calmed me down. I went to the beach hut and I was streaming with tears. I was like, ‘I just want to go now. I can’t do this anymore. Get me out of here. I feel violated and disrespected.’

"And they said, ‘We completely get it, it’s so out of order of him.’

"They understood where I was coming from, but also said, ‘You’re so amazing, don’t let what he’s done or anyone else in here make you feel otherwise.’ "

But Danica later calmed down and admitted it was Billy's "loss".

She added to OK!: "It was one of those things where I calmed down and realised it doesn’t define me as a woman, just because a couple of guys in there weren’t interested in that way. Again, it’s their loss."

Danica later coupled up with footballer Jamie Allen, who she left the villa with after they were dumped from the show just days before the series finale.

Following her exit, she said: "I’m walking out of here with somebody who I genuinely think I’ve got quite a good connection with. I’m so proud of myself. It’s still early days for me and Jamie but we just clicked.

"I remember the first night he came in and we were just talking. I didn’t know anything about him, I didn’t know where he lived, his family, or his career but we’d spoken all night."

Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Culculoglu went on to win the series and the show's £50,000 prize.
