Danny Dyer praised for on-air comments about Brexit and 'tw*t' David Cameron
If you want a unique take on Brexit, just ask Danny Dyer.
The EastEnders actor’s appearance on Good Evening Britain last night took the internet by storm, as he expressed his views on the UK’s exit from the EU – saving his most expletive-laden comments for David Cameron.
The special evening edition of Good Morning Britain was aired just after England lost 1-0 to Belgium in the World Cup.
Hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid welcomed an eclectic array of guests onto the show, including at one point Jeremy Corbyn, Pamela Anderson, and Danny Dyer on the sofas at one time.
And it was the appearance of the EastEnders star that generated the most interest, especially when he told Piers what ‘real people’ think about Brexit.
‘This whole Brexit thing,’ he began, as he defended Love Island contestants who didn’t know much about it. ‘When you’re judging them [contestants] on Brexit, they don’t know nothing about it.
‘Who knows about Brexit? No one’s got a clue what Brexit is,’ he informed Piers and the panel.
‘You watch Question Time, it’s comedy,’ the actor continued.
‘Were you no clearer when Jeremy Corbyn explained it?’ asked Susanna Reid.
‘No one knows what it is, it’s like this mad riddle – no one knows what it is!’
He then turned his attentions to former PM Cameron – a politician he didn’t appear fond of.
‘What happened to that tw*t David Cameron, who pulled it off?
‘How come he can scuttle off? He called all this on. Where is he? He’s in Europe, in Nice with his trotters up.
‘Where is the geezer?’
‘He should be held account for it. He should be held account for it,’ Danny continued, before leaving a perfectly timed pause before shouting ‘tw*t!’ as Morgan began to speak again.
Within no time, people on Twitter were sharing the video and praising the star for his honest outburst.
People were in awe of the clip itself…

Celebs were eager to praise the London hardman for his brash comments, too.

The comic timing of Danny Dyer’s second “twat” should be taught in drama schools.

I don’t know much about Danny Dyer, but what I know I like.
Not sure I’d book him pre-watershed though,— James O'Brien (@mrjamesob) June 28, 2018
That Danny Dyer interview has everything. The word twat. Corbyn being grumpy. Pamela Anderson being confused. Ed balls giggling his tits off. Piers Morgan being interrupted. Harry Redknap asleep. The word twat again. pic.twitter.com/TRYR3MA7MP

And so it has been left to Danny Dyer to speak the simplest and greatest truth about Brexit. Especially with the second "twat." https://t.co/NiUsPmyaxO
