WANZHOU, China (AP) _ Daqo New Energy Corp. (DQ) on Tuesday reported second-quarter net income of $13.4 million.

On a per-share basis, the Wanzhou, China-based company said it had profit of $1. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, were $1.36 per share.

The solar panel parts maker posted revenue of $67 million in the period.

Daqo shares have declined 37 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 36 percent in the last 12 months.
