Dave Grohl dressed to impress for his day at Wimbledon.

The Foo Fighters frontman ditched his usual rock star style for his July 2 outing at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club and instead wore a clean-cut suit and tie with brown Gucci loafers. Grohl, 55, even tied his signature long hair back in a ponytail before wrapping it up in a bun.

Grohl's wife, Jordyn Blum, looked equally dashing in a complementary blue dress that matched his navy suit.

Grohl's change in dressing was called for — the couple was seated in the Royal Box for day two of the tennis tournament, and it has a dress code. So the Grammy-winning musician's usual wardrobe wasn't going to cut it for the day!

According to the official Wimbledon rules, guests in the Royal Box must dress "smart," which means men have to wear suit jackets and ties, and ladies are not allowed to wear hats, as they can obscure the view of someone behind them.

Seats in the Royal Box are highly sought after — and hard to come by. You can't buy them, you have to be invited. In addition to seeing the British royals in one of the 74 seats, you may also see royals from other countries as well. Plus, whomever is deemed worthy of an invitation.

"It’s up to the chairman of the All England Club to distribute invites for the two weeks of athletic competition, with suggestions submitted by members of the Championships’ Organising Committee, the Lawn Tennis Association and other sources," according to Wimbledon's website.

Grohl's Wimbledon appearance comes in the midst of the Foo Fighters' world tour. At the end of June while playing in Manchester, Grohl joked to the crowd that he was "feeling like Taylor Swift” while the band was performing.

In concert footage captured by TikTok user StrettyEnd — where the crowd wasn't sure how to take Grohl's comments — he further said, “I should be so lucky.”

He continued, “Listen — tonight, this is my Eras Tour, OK? I’ve got a lot of eras. Spelled e-r-r-o-r-s. This is my ‘Errors Tour,’ how about that? That’s what we should’ve called this f------ tour: The Errors Tour."
