David Moyes makes Jürgen Klopp admission after final game vs Liverpool boss - 'I hate saying it'
West Ham United boss David Moyes was full of praise for Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp after his side held the Reds to a 2-2 draw at the London Stadium. There are now only three matches left of the Klopp era at Anfield.
"I'll be glad he's gone," Moyes joked. "Too big, teeth are too bright! I hate saying it because I have worked against him in the other clubs which are probably the biggest rivals, but I think he's been immense for Liverpool, he really has been.
"He's the daddy there and he has been able to control a big football club, which is not easy to do at times. He's controlled it. I'm glad to see the back of him, I've gotta say. Hurry up and get away Jürgen!"

Moyes has famously never won away at Liverpool but did beat Klopp once during his tenure — in November 2021. Today was only the second draw that Moyes managed against Klopp, with 11 defeats against his side.
"English football will sadly be losing Jürgen at the end of the season," Moyes had written in his matchday program notes ahead of the match. "So many managers come and go over the years.
"Some of the great ones have found it difficult to manage in the Premier League. Jürgen though has been up there with the very best, the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsène Wenger, José Mourinho and Pep Guardiola.
"I have previously been the manager of two of Liverpool’s biggest rival clubs but I have to mark my admiration for Jürgen and his achievements during his time at Anfield. We hope we can ruin one of his final games as Liverpool manager at the London Stadium today but we still wish him all the very best for the future."
Liverpool.com says: Klopp will be a big miss for the Premier League as a whole; there can be no doubt about it. The German's tenure has been filled with iconic moments and Moyes' respect is good to see. The West Ham boss has always been very positive about Klopp, though he kind of has to be with a record against him reading as poorly as it does!
