The Warner and DC presentation in Hall H at Comic-Con on Saturday (July 23) kicked off with a bang as the directors of DC's superhero slate assembled to dish the dirt on their new films.

Suicide Squad director David Ayer, Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins, Justice League director Zack Synder, Batman director Ben Affleck and The Flash director Rick Famuyiwa took to the stage to tease the upcoming slate of superhero movies coming our way.

Jenkins told the crowd that Wonder Woman was a badass but "in herself a total woman", before revealing the very first trailer from the film, while Famuyiwa said he wanted his Flash movie to reflect the world we live in, before revealing that he was wearing his Flash underpants: "I dug them out and I bet I'm not the only one here today."

James Wan, who made Saw, Insidious and The Conjuring said he'd be bringing some of his horror background to Aquaman.

Meanwhile Ben Affleck took a video of the crowd before saying taking on the new Batman film was a "tremendous amount of pressure" but also "terrifying and exciting".

"I'm deeply honoured and thrilled to be a part of it and thank you for the opportunity," he said.

The Wonder Woman panel followed, before an unannounced first trailer from the Justice League.
