'Dead Center of the Circulation': Storm Batters Nebraska Amid Tornado Warning

Strong wind gusts, lightning, and heavy rain were seen in Hastings late on Friday, May 3, as the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a tornado warning for parts of Nebraska.

The NWS said storms moving east across the state would be capable of producing damaging wind gusts and large hail.
