Deadly Earthquake Damages Marrakech's Old Town

The known death toll from the powerful 6.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Morocco late Friday, September 8, rose to 2,681 on Monday, September 11, officials said.

As of 3 pm local time on Monday, state-run media updated the death toll, and reported that 2,501 were injured as a result of the quake.
